Therefore, in the OEM production process, the purchase of packaging materials is very important. Good packaging materials can enhance the image and improve the quality, making a good impression. Therefore, while determining the OEM production and processing enterprise, the customer must attach great importance to the purchase of cosmetic packaging materials and strive to track the production process to achieve “pre-researching the market, pre-judging the process, and pre-controlling risks” to ensure “quality is guaranteed, the schedule is on time, and the service is in place.” Specifically, it is to control five aspects:

First, the design is reasonable.

As an OEM customer, while considering the cost, one should consider market expectations and control the design of cosmetic packaging materials, from outer packaging to inner cartons; from container forms to label copy; from style positioning to transportation risks and outsourcing. Consider the overall situation and make overall arrangements to ensure a reasonable structure and good physical properties. Some customers only consider containers but don’t care about outsourcing, especially the geographical situation and transportation situation. Without overall consideration, this leads to good products without a good appearance, ultimately damaging the overall image of the product and the customer’s interests.

Second, the capacity is standard.

There are many kinds of skin care products, and the production process is complicated. Sometimes there is a gap between the container capacity and the design standard. Therefore, before the container is produced, the characteristics of the material should be fully considered and controlled in a targeted manner. Whether the special specifications are complete, the appearance is beautiful, and the vision is comfortable, and so on. When many customers negotiate business, they often only know how to produce according to the sample. In fact, this is incomplete. Because materials are different, the same containers have different net contents.

Third, whether the copy is standardized.

The country’s label management of cosmetics is very strict and must be carried out in strict accordance with the standards, especially for characteristic products. Some components and their indicators cannot have half mistakes or discrepancies. Otherwise, even the best cosmetic packaging materials cannot be used. Also, in terms of the efficacy of the product, one must carefully scrutinize and carefully review to avoid false content, banned words, and consumer ambiguity.

Fourth, whether the details are controlled.

Mainly the quality of cosmetic packaging materials. Due to the boxes, bottles, bags, etc. in cosmetic packaging materials, in the process of mass production, there are always defective products. Even if the quality is good, defects may occur during transportation. In particular, some auxiliary gadgets, such as covers, mats, boxes, inserts, labels, shrink films, etc., are easy to have such quality issues during production or transportation. Fifth, does the ratio exceed the standard?

Cosmetic packaging materials, especially for outsourcing materials such as cartons and handbags, are produced by hand due to the low degree of automation, inevitably resulting in defective or substandard products. Some glass bottles and hoses produced by machines may also have such problems as color difference, missed printing, and form. Therefore, when purchasing, these problems must be considered. If the ratio of qualified products to defective products does not exceed the basic standard when the cosmetic package materials are inspected, then the purchase of cosmetic packaging materials is successful. However, when ordering cosmetic packaging materials, the quantity should be appropriately increased to ensure sufficient use and selection room.
